Main Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join the team responsible for SS&C's relationship with SJP (including Rowan Dartington and SJP International).

In this role you will be responsible for leading and supporting specific Account Management and oversight functions of the SJP relationship.

  • Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy in executing the role including identification of priorities, taking initiative, making decisions, and ensuring SS&C is professionally presented at all times
  • Ensuring Governance with Contract and processes are followed
  • Maintain and develop personal relationships with key and senior client contacts externally but also with key stakeholders within SS&C
  • Liaise with Heads of internal business areas to monitor and ensure quality service is provided
  • Ensure reports on service and quality are provided, checked, and understood before going to client/internal stakeholders
  • Ensure all Governance meetings are being scheduled, minuted and actions progressed in a timely manner
  • Keep abreast of current SJP / SS&C relationship status
  • Work with Client and SS&C teams to ensure customer satisfaction always remains positive and ensure Leadership team are aware of any potential areas of concern
  • Support and maintain summary reporting of overall account, service, commercials, and governance status
  • Input to Senior Management and Management Company reporting e.g., GoCheck, Operations Committee, Board reports etc
  • Chair ad hoc meetings (where appropriate and relative to meeting attendees)
  • Call report/minutes to be prepared from meetings with client and circulated to SS&C Executives, using appropriate tools
  • Understand the client tariff and its application
  • Check all invoices and Ad Hoc charges are applied and invoiced
  • Escalation point for resolution of invoicing & billing issues
  • Maintain full knowledge of SJP MSA and related business contract terms
  • Ensure that all Contract Governance processes implemented and followed
  • Participate in support work as requested to achieve internal agreement on contractual/commercial issues
  • Awareness of all client change requests/projects
  • Internal notification of changes to client service model/tariff/SLA's
  • Follow development of new products /services /functionality from all SS&C code promotions i.e. Bluedoor, FAST/AWD/FASTMail etc where relevant engage client in potential demand/use
  • Input to ensure commercial considerations have been considered and documented for discussion with client
  • Attend internal/external business forum/committees on behalf of Account Management
  • Complete any other appropriate ad hoc tasks as directed by manager

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent knowledge of SS&C's operational structure, SJP products, systems and change process
  • Organised and can work to a regular schedule of monthly tasks whilst prioritising urgent requests
  • Strong ability in understanding management information and using this to make considered decisions
  • Relationship management experience, appears credible when working with SJP and senior internal stakeholders
