Assessment/Selection
Ability Testing
Ability tests measure the extent to which you are able to carry out various aspects of a job. These tests can be paper based or online and will assess some of the following areas:
- Verbal Reasoning/Comprehension
- Numeracy
- Data entry/attention to detail
Personality Questionnaire
The personality questionnaire is designed to assess your typical or preferred behaviour in the workplace. We would usually ask you to complete this online prior to attending a competency-based interview.
Practice Tests
We use CEB Global for our aptitude and personality assessments. To learn more about types of test we may conduct or to do a practice test, please visit

Interviews
Whether you've applied to any of our entry level jobs or senior roles, an interview is a crucial part of the recruitment process. Our interviews are competency-based and aim to identify the key skills and competencies you will need to do the job. You will be asked to give specific examples of behaviours/scenarios relevant to the role for which you are interviewing. We conduct interviews face to face and by telephone.
Depending on the role there may be more than one interview (you will be told about next steps at each stage of the process).
Additional Exercises
For some roles we use exercises such as role-play, presentations, in-tray or group exercises. These will be relevant to the role you have applied for and you will be given ample time to prepare.
Assessment Centres
An assessment centre may comprise of some or all of the above selection methods. If you are invited to an Assessment Centre you will be provided with a full itinerary of what the day will consist of and given plenty of notice so that you can prepare.
